Today we had a slow morning and I did some laundry. Unfortunately, that chore does not go away on vacation! Then we headed off to the zoo.
Charlie likes getting his picture taken.
He loved the butterfly dome. Butterflies everywhere. I did not get a picture of any, but we enjoyed seeing them.
In the first few exhibits, the animals were not out, so we were relieved when we started seeing animals. Baby elephants are so cute. They also had a baby sifaka and a baby lemur. The primates were energetic and extremely entertaining.
Marty wore his Woodland Park Zoo shirt on purpose. At least one zoo employee liked it.
It was 83 and overcast with some light rain part of the time. A good day for the zoo because we weren’t broiling in the hot sun.
After the zoo, we headed to my cousin Linda’s house for dinner. She & her husband Pete and youngest daughter Krista made us very welcome, and we had a great visit.
