Day 20- Grand Canyon South Rim

Today we had a 2 hour drive from 4000 feet at Sedona to 7000 feet at the Grand Canyon South Rim. There were more people in one place than we’ve seen since St. Louis. It was crowded! And windy! They say that it’s not always windy like this and the locals can’t wait for it to stop—in the next day or so. Too late for us. It is soooo windy. We’ll be glad when it’s not so windy where we are. Today the high here was 78 and the low will be 39!

The Grand Canyon is amazing and the pictures do not do it justice. It made me nervous though! It’s so high! 5000 ft down from the rim.

You can tell how windy it is. Doesn’t the wind do wonders for my hair style?
