Today we had a 4 1/2 hour drive through CA to get from Yosemite to Napa Valley. On our way up Napa Valley, we stopped at Franciscan Winery (thinking of you, Mike!) and had a tasting and walked around. The kids were less impressed than we were. Of course, they did not get to taste!

Here is the big bench that we have a picture of Mark & Gaylan on from 16 years ago.
We’re staying at Calistoga Spa & Hot Springs, again like we did 16 years ago with Pam & Gaylan. But the hotel has undergone a major renovation and fancy-ing up.
The pools are about the same,
with the addition of a baby pool and rock waterfall.
We ate a nice dinner at an Italian restaurant. Looking forward to more wineries!
