We took advantage of our last day in London to have a full English breakfast. This was our second time. Once the food came, I wasn’t thinking about pictures, so you’ll just have to imagine it.
Then, the 5 of us went to the British Museum. We saw amazing things from Assyria, Egypt, Greece, Rome, etc. Below is Assyrian.
The real Rosetta Stone!
We peeked into the Americas exhibit. Saw Native American artifacts that reminded us of here. Also saw interesting South American artifacts.
The Elgin Marbles from the Parthenon in Greece.
Eddie wanted a picture of the Egyptian columns.
I think these are Etruscan heads.
We headed home in order to get our car to the airport and on to Rome! Met by friendly drivers in the Rome airport and got to the apartment where we met our landlord, Marco. “OK! OK! No problem!” He said that a lot. Nice man. We were happy to get to bed around midnight.
