We interrupt the trip blogging to share some digging out from the stormstorm photos. First, a couple of pictures at the end of the day yesterday. Our little frog garden ornament is just peeking out of the snow. Today, he is no where to be seen.
First snowblower pass down the driveway. First, Mark had to dig out the shed doors to get the snowblower out.
Marty and Charlie are showing you how deep the snow is. That was what confronted us when we opened the garage door.
As you can see, the porch did get lots of snow, but the door could still open! Of course, the ground is 2 steps down from the door—one step to the porch, another step to the ground.
It drifted higher by the front. But, if we ever get plowed, we’ll be able to drive in the driveway! Mark & Marty are at the neighbor’s digging them out. Luckily, our snow blower is working well today.
