Amidst NFP class, baseball game, bank run, DVD player installation in the van, laundry, bathroom cleaning, picking up, cleaning boys, playing and reading books with Charlie, cleaning out the fridge, supervising enterprising boys, etc., we had a piano recital this afternoon. Since it was such a crazy day, I forgot to bring my camera so you cannot see how cute Eddie looked in his plaid Bermuda shorts, white dress shirt and red tie. Marty also looked cute, but did not wear a tie with his shorts.
Both boys did very well on their 3 pieces. Once again, Marty was the second to last performer (they went in order of difficulty of pieces). The last performer was 14 years old and played Chopin and a couple other difficult pieces. Eddie was 7th out of 15, so that was pretty good too. Eddie played 3 pieces out of his lesson book. Marty played Kabalevsky, Schubert and John Williams. We were very proud of them.
