Yesterday morning the kids and I went to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies while Mark worked. It was a very cool aquarium with lots of neat things.
Like an underwater tunnel with a moving walkway. Have you ever seen a sawfish?
and a fun playing area for kids. We also saw cuttlefish, giant spider crabs, and the usual fish.
There were several places the kids could go for a swim, including with the penguins. We got to see the penguins getting fed. It was fun.
There was a bluegrass band playing outside the aquarium. Only in Tennessee!
We made it back to the hotel (we had walked about 10 blocks to the aquarium) right before the torrential downpour.
I never saw a sawfish! Okay, I did, really, but I had to say it.
