Yesterday we crossed the 49th parallel going north. Today we crossed the 45th parallel going south. The 45th parallel is halfway between the North Pole and the Equator.
We saw elk in the town of Gardiner and also right outside our hotel.
We had elk and bison burgers and lots of fries for dinner!

We’re staying in the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel. It is like the hotel in Yosemite—shared bathrooms.
