Day 47—Going-to-the-Sun Rd. in Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park is my new favorite place. It was amazing and incredibly beautiful. Below is St. Mary’s Lake.

St. Mary’s Lake is 9.6 miles long and 289 ft. deep. Below we were posing while waiting to go past the road construction.

We were awfully close to the rock wall and waterfalls at times.

It’s getting late and I can’t take the time to tell you about every place. But, it was awesome. We did a couple short hikes that were really neat. We did have a run in with pepper spray—they sell it in case of grizzly bear encounters, but somehow some got sprayed in the parking lot where we were walking. We all choked and coughed and teared up and it was not fun. But we survived it. The rest of our adventures were much more pleasant.
