I finally remembered to take pictures of our cabin. It has been very convenient and roomy. Plus it has a washer and dryer.
We headed out early so Sr. Maria Pio, Marty & Eddie could go white water rafting. They had a great time. I was too scared and Mark has been and didn’t care to go again so we stayed back with Charlie.
We visited the Alberta welcome station in West Glacier.
We played mini golf and then Mark & Charlie went in a maze.
After lunch, we drove up into Canada, to Waterton Lakes National Park which is paired with Glacier as an International Peace Park. Below is the Prince of Wales hotel which was built 88 years ago as part of a chain of hotels built to lure American travelers who had been going to Europe to see mountains.
We took a 2 hour boat tour of Upper Waterton Lake. It was amazing! We stopped in Goat Haunt in the US, then boated back to Canada.
Below in Goat Haunt looking back up the lake. We saw a bald eagle pretty close. The lake is deep and shaped like a bathtub, so it drops off quickly, so the boat could get close to the shores.

We ate pizza after we got off the boat then explored a waterfall right near the townsite. It was a long day—we got home at 10:20! But it was worth it.
