We went to see Marty at work last Thursday. This was Mark’s chance to see him. They feed the penguins in a different spot in the afternoon. Marty had to shoo away the male pelican, Plato, who was trying to steal fish from the penguins. We saw the seagull (who is not part of the exhibit—they call him Steven Seagull though) steal a fish out of a penguin’s mouth!
Here Marty is practicing calling the numbers of the penguins who are eating. He hopes to be able to feed them someday, but he has to get fast at calling first.
