We had a super-fun visit to Lee & Mike’s farm (and their neighbors’ farm) yesterday. The neighbors have lots of rescue animals, which were a big hit. Eddie (above) is petting Eddie (the dog, on the vehicle) and Tucker (on the ground). Charlie (below) was enamored of the puppy, no name yet, and kitten, Socks.
Back at the homestead, the kids all got to ‘help with the mowing,’ i.e. drive the tractor, which looked to be a lot of fun.
We had beautiful weather despite horrible rain the day & night before and early morning of the trip. What a relief! We celebrated Marty’s & Mike’s birthdays and had a really fun time!
