Here is my boring final decorating project for my class.
The kids wanted me to do a house blowing up. I am just too lazy to be a good cake decorator. Making colored icing is hard work! So, I had other plans and decided to bag them.
Other people in my class were more ambitious and handy. Here are the pictures of their cakes.
We supposedly learned that ribbon rose today. I wasn’t happy with mine. And I quit trying after 4 tries. See, I’m a quitter.
It didn’t help that we were running very late because Mark’s car broke down and I dropped him and the kids at soccer practice and went to class and they were stuck there when it rained really hard. (It was only 2 blocks from home and sunny when I dropped them, so I didn’t know about the rain until I got home.) Anyway, I was a little frazzled and drained when I got to class. Not optimal for doing pretty roses.
