One of my friends has a 13 year old girl with cystic fibrosis. She’s (the daughter) been going through a rough patch lately, so I was making her a necklace. Her favorite color is pink. I decided to make several necklaces and let her choose which one she liked. Interestingly, the color of the year is honeydew, which is the pink of the heart charm below. (I wouldn’t have pegged honeydew as the name of a pink color.)
And then, I made this one, which has no pink in it at all.
