We had Eddie’s annual birthday pool party at Uncle Lee & Mr. Mike’s house. Lucky for us, it was today (mid sixties and sunny and breezy) rather than yesterday (low 50’s, pouring rain, heavy winds, and thunderstorms). A fun time was had by all.
Uncle Lee & Charlie played in the pool for over an hour. Or, should I say, played in the hot tub? They never left it for the bigger pool.
Basketball was a hit.
The reclining chair was a hit.
The bubbles in the hot tub were a hit. Notice Eddie, in the green rash guard. He is blowing up his shirt with the bubbles.
Charlie was a little chilly after being in the pool. So he played with army men for a while after his swim.
The presents were a hit. One young guest said, “Wow, Eddie, you’re really getting good presents!”
Charlie bonded with his godfather.
The cake was a hit—coca cola cake.
Yep, it was a hit!
