Yes, our relationship with the orthodontist started last month, and Marty got bottom braces today and an expander on top. It is like a retainer. Marty got to pick the color of his braces, and true to his boy-ness and himself, he picked red.
It’s hard to see them without him grimacing terribly.
He is getting used to them and to the retainer.
He picked glow in the dark safety yellow for his retainer.
Eddie was evaluated today and he will start with a top expander in a month (he picked glow in the dark lime green and glow in the dark blue for his), and he will have something on the bottom that I can’t remember what it’s called. But he won’t have braces for a year or two. Eddie has a severe overbite and crowding and crooked teeth.
Marty has crowding and a cross bite and crooked teeth.
