Marty’s team played the championship game tonight and lost 12-4 against the number 1 team who had been unbeaten throughout the season. Marty played the hardest I’ve ever seen him play with some awesome defensive blocks. Mark & I were so proud of him. Unfortunately, the opposing team has two of the best offensive players in the league. Marty was fouled against at least 3 times, one for an elbow in the eye, the others for pushing. He held up though and didn’t back down even though this player was really aggressive. He got a nice trophy for second place and was happy with the season, even though they lost tonight.
