The Schmidt Family road trip to the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival began today. Unfortunately, it was a little wet—just some heavy mist much of the day. But we were prepared. The music was great and Mark went to a banjo workshop run by Pete Wernick. Mark said there were about 8 people there and Pete told him (Mark) he was doing great after Mark confessed he was a self-taught beginner. He was able to keep up with the rest of them!

Hehe. It was sunny here today. I love how, in the second picture down, Charlie and Mark are making the same face. And then I noticed that Eddie is, too. I hope the weather clears up a bit!
