Our new range

So, after being frustrated with fluctuating temperatures in the oven during cookie baking and meal cooking, we decided that fixing the 12-year-old oven for $510 wasn’t going to be the plan. Off we went to the sales after Christmas where we found what we wanted and set the delivery for the next day.

But see that pipe on top? Turns out it wouldn’t fit our gas line. And, Home Depot was closed for New Year’s Eve. So, we couldn’t hook it up that day. Here is Mark making a nice brunch that doesn’t use the stove or oven.

Luckily, Home Depot was open on New Year’s. Mark went and got the part he needed to install it. All set.

(that’s my new tea kettle on it.) It’s pretty much like the old one.
