The Kennedy Space Center was really neat. Charlie got run over by a Mars rover prototype. Then the guy explained the way it works. Then we explored an exhibit on early space exploration.

Marty & Eddie are posing before the Mercury mission control room. There is more technology in a smart phone today then there was in that whole room!
Moon rover.
We checked out the rocket garden. Charlie didn’t get in the below rocket because that seat was wet.
Here is the entrance to my favorite part. The space shuttle Atlantis. The whole building is dedicated to info about the space shuttle program.
Seeing the shuttle is awe-inspiring.
The Hubble telescope was a big part of the space shuttle missions.
Charlie and Marty crawled around in tubes like in the shuttle. But one tube was transparent and suspended 20 ft. up. Marty was a bit nervous there. Who can blame him?
We saw an IMAX about the Hubble telescope and went in an Angry Birds space exhibit. Then it was time to go. We did not get to do the bus tour, but we heard it was good.
We went to a Mass close by and then hit the road for home. What a great trip!
