This week is soccer camp, and once again our organization is doing the British Challenger Camp. Young men & women from Britain come over for the summer and coach the camps. We are hosting 3 of the lads at our house this week.
It’s been a fairly wet week so today the field was very muddy.
This is Paddy, one of our lads. He coaches Eddie’s group.
This is Fraser (pronounced like razor) and Artur (waving). Artur is from Brazil and is Marty’s coach. Fraser is one of our lads. He’s from Scotland.
Paddy posed for me. He’s quite a ham.
This is Hannah, Fraser and Simon. Simon is our other lad. He coaches the little kids—meaning Charlie and 5 others.
Here they are dribbling.
Here they are being Superman. Simon has boundless energy and enthusiasm. He is great with the kids. Makes the moms participate too.
He and one of the kids are planning their defense.
Hannah setting up.
The big kids finally stopped their snack break so I could take pictures. They were playing World Cup games. Marty plays for Turkey and Eddie plays for Israel.
Final wrap-up with Coach Simon.
